With a seating capacity of approximately 200, this gorgeous room hand built and decorated by local workers with special lighting and under two specially designed acoustical domes (making microphones often unnecessary), and a real ballroom dance floor that transforms into a perfect place for conferences and seminars, stage shows, theater in the round, movies, dance, yoga and exercise, weddings, and all kinds of special events. Here, there is a waterfall deck that overlooks the beautiful and educational Old Peoples’ Garden of organic medicinal herbs and healing plants. There is a large viewing deck, and a library/Internet room above the Center, a deck also used for special events, dancing, dining, etc. or to just sit and enjoy the spectacular views of the sacred El Mandango Mountain, the town of Vilcabamba, and the magnificent Andes Mountains, as well as the old peoples’ farm and sugar cane factory across from the hotel and, of course, the spectacular Vilcabamba skies, the towering clouds, the myriad stars and various interesting unique events in the cosmos (Honey, what’s that brilliant light moving slowly across the sky…or, what is “that”…could it be… …?)! |
